Bio
One of Morningside’s most loyal, and devout boosters, Delbert Christensen truly had Maroon and White running through his veins. The Sioux City native was a member of the Morningside track and cross-country teams, and excelled in the half-mile, and mile run.
After graduation, Christensen worked for W.W. Grainger, and had a 45-year career as an exceptional fast pitch softball umpire. He was also instrumental in the restoration of historic Hubbard Park in Sioux City.
