KANSAS CITY, MO. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced its Champions of Character Five-Star Award winners for the 2024-25 academic year, revealing Morningside as a silver award winner.

It was also announced that the Great Plains Athletic Conference was named a Five-Star Conference award winner.

Institutions are measured on a demonstrated commitment to Champions of Character and earn points for character training, conduct in competition, character recognition, and character promotion. 210 institutions were recognized as Five-Star Award winners this year.

The Champions of Character program promotes the five core values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership in competition and beyond the playing field.
