Four earn men's at-large Academic All-District honors

GREENWOOD, IND. – College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its men's Academic All-District team for at-large sport grouping, placing four Mustangs on the list. The CSC at-large grouping includes men's bowling, golf, lacrosse, volleyball, wrestling and co-ed sports competitive cheer and competitive dance.

Morningside is represented on the list by Philip Mangset from men's golf and Tharen Cox, Jacob DePauw, and Owen Anderson from men's volleyball. Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot, with the All-America teams announced on July 17.

The CSC Academic All-American program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for a combination of success in competition and in the classroom, requiring that nominees maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better and meet specific playing requirements that are outlined on a sport-by-sport basis.
