Mustangs 4x800 team competes at NAIA Championships
MARION, Ind. – The GPAC Champion Mustangs women’s 4x800 relay team competed at the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships Wednesday evening in Marion, Indiana, placing 14th in the event.
MARION, Ind. – The GPAC Champion Mustangs women's 4x800 relay team competed at the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships Wednesday evening in Marion, Indiana, placing 14th in the event.
The team of Courtney Sporrer, Emily Chicoine, Jolee Mesz, and Michelle Sanchez ran a 9:20.45 for 14th place. Sporrer ran the fastest split of the group at 2:17.86, followed by Sanchez at 2:18.47, Mesz at 2:22.04 and Chicoine at 2:22.08.
The Mustangs missed qualifying for finals by less than seven seconds to finish their season.
