Mustangs pick up first league win at Presentation
ABERDEEN, S.D. – Morningside men’s soccer picked up a win as it opened its conference schedule at Presentation College. The Mustangs defeated the Saints 1-0.

ABERDEEN, S.D. – Morningside men's soccer picked up a win as it opened its conference schedule at Presentation College. The Mustangs defeated the Saints 1-0.
Gero Zarbo had the first goal and the eventual game winner, netting the unassisted score in the 18th minute of the contest. The Mustangs outshot the Saints 14-3, firing 10 shots on goal. Zarbo's goal came on his lone shot of the night. Jurre Thielen recorded three shots on goal.
Bjarne Huth recorded 90 minutes in goal for the visitors on the scoreboard, collecting three saves in the clean sheet win.
Morningside continues conference play on Saturday, meeting the Jimmies in Jamestown, N.D. on Saturday in a 3 p.m. contest.
