LINCOLN, NEB. – The Mustangs fought through three rounds of tough competition this week at the Blue River Classic, hosted by Doane University at the Highlands Golf Course. Morningside placed fifth in the contest, posting a combined score of 880 strokes.

Ryan Cavanaugh led the Mustangs with a ninth place finish and an individual score of 215, finishing one stroke under par. Ariel Lev was 32nd with a score of 224 and Brock Lutterman followed in 35th with a 225. 

Morningside next competes in the Siouxland Invitational, co-hosted by Dordt and Northwestern on September 9 and 10.
